Playing around with more white space in my digital collages and came up with this collage.  Its inspired by recent events and ideas on a new film project that I am developing.

Flower Girl

Tried a very low contrast, duo tone combo for this latest digital collage.  I liked the emergence of the face from the background surrounded by flowers.  I usually like the super saturated colors, but this one begged for a light touch.

Have been thinking about getting a tattoo of a blue rose on my arm for years and have decided that July will be the month to execute that idea.  This doodle is a trial run without any needles or pain…

Wheel of Fortune

Finished my LandFillArt.org project, decorating a hub cap.  Started with an Aztec calendar motif and ended up with the Wheel of Fortune idea.  My cat was rapt with the finished piece and went wherever I put it until it went into the box to ship back.  I used a lot of recycled ephemera to do the piece.

Curtain Call

Things are shifting, surreal thoughts and images passing through. Wanted to capture some of that weird floating, unanchored feeling in this digital doodle.  Used my favorite Photoshop plug-in, Glitterato from Flaming Pear to get the lighting effect.

New digital collage using Photoshop and subtle colors.  Love the implied movement in this piece.  Have been bombarded with new ideas recently and needed to ground some of them in artwork.

I used a new color palette that had sage green, light lavender and chocolate brown. I have a ton of vintage travel ephemera that I like to play around with and used in this digital collage.
